To make a link between the eres system on Docutek and Millennium, a bibliographic and item record needs to be created with the URL for the electronic reserves record that you are linking to.

1. Access 'Course Reserves' on Millennium

2, Click on 'Options'

3. Select 'Key a bibliographic-item record', then select 'New'

4. Choose the bibliographic record template

- cireres for an electronic reserve record

5. Enter the title as in the format below:

+ELECTRONIC READINGS FOR SIS 200

7. Enter the URL in the following format:856 |uhttps://eres.lib.washington.edu/eres/coursepage.aspx?cid=5764

|zConnect to this title online; UW Restricted

8. Next you will be prompted to enter the item record:

- crceres for an electronic reserve record

9. Click past loan period, price, and location.

10. Save and close the record.

11.  Access your reserve course. 

12.  Attach the record that you created to the course record.
